Synopsis: My father died eight years ago, and yet he ceaselessly appears in my dreams. He sends me messages that I sometimes manage to decipher. He is worried about the fact that my family is disuniting over a plot of land he sold before his death. In order to bring peace to his soul, Peul tradition recommends that we sacrifice a cow. I head off for the Fouta Djalon in Guinea for this sacrifice, during which I try to reconnect with my brothers and sisters as well as with my aunt and uncles.
